Random Pattern Memory: The Inversion of Process
The "Random Pattern Memory" series is an exploration in the inversion of my usual process. Instead of working from a preconceived composition, I begin by creating layers of color, gestures, and patterns. Through collage, paper weaving, and the use of found paper, I manipulate these elements until they reveal a new dynamic.
This work utilizes the principles of geometry and tessellation to create new compositions. By incorporating acrylic and spray paint on paper, I am able to build vibrant color fields and textures. This unique process allows me to focus on the raw interplay of shapes, colors, and textures, creating new visual perspectives.

During the process of creating layers of colors, pattern of gestures, I came back to an old technique that i use to make a lot: lino print and woodblock.
First i had to chose one shape where i could put inside many patterns and also think about the composition.
I wanted each to be special but also to connect them with each other.
So started drawing, then carving, and then doing color test and create a new library of pattern, colors and reintroducing texture in my work.

Random Pattern Memory
Geometric painting on paper transforms simple shapes into an organized exploration of color. By utilizing geometric forms, I can showcase how colors interact, enhancing the visual experience through optical illusions. This unique approach allows for a vibrant display that engages viewers and elevates the potential of both shape and hue in a composition.
Experience the dynamic interplay of geometry and color in every piece.
