A LITTLE BIT
ABOUT THE
STUDIO
Jessica Moritz Studio explores the intersection of geometry, color, and light through painting, design, and material research. Based in Tel Aviv, the studio develops contemporary abstract works rooted in perception, movement, and the spatial experience of form. Projects range from hard-edge canvases to experimental installations, Op Art, with a focus on visual rhythm, minimalist structures, and emotional impact.

Reframing painting through shaped canvases, Jessica Moritz pushes the boundaries of surface, space, and form.
These works challenge the traditional rectangle, creating architectural objects where light, shadow, and geometry interact. Each canvas becomes both structure and surface, an invitation to see painting as spatial experience.
Working at the intersection of geometry, light, and perception, Jessica Moritz explores how structured forms can create emotional impact. Through shaped canvases and chromatic systems, her practice shifts between flatness and depth, order and disruption; inviting a sensory experience beyond the surface.

view
Jessica Moritz’s work has been exhibited in solo and group shows across Israel and internationally, with recent presentations at Wertheimer Gallery, Hanina Gallery, and Lemon Frame. Her installations use shaped canvases, precise color theory, and geometric compositions to create immersive environments where visual perception bends. Through spatial interventions and three-dimensional illusions, she explores the shifting tension between order and chaos, inviting viewers to question what they see, and how they see it.

Born from the encounter between Jessica Moritz's creative vision and Illulian's artisanal mastery, Quantum Dance transforms rugs into living surfaces, territories of perception where light vibrates through textures and tonal nuances.
Quantum Dance is an invitation to observe how light and time move within us. Each rug is an emotional map a dance of shapes and colours revealing new perspectives.

Light is the first material I reach for.
Gravity is the invisible thread pulling forms, shaping silence.
Painting is where I learn to listen to space.
